Connecting your Laptop to the Seattle U Classroom Projectors

 

Go to the Podium in the Classroom.. 1

Connect your laptop to the HDMI or USB C cord. 1

Then, adjust settings on the Projector Screen. 2

Change your Audio Settings. 3

 

 

 

Go to the Podium in the Classroom

 

Connect your laptop to the HDMI or USB C cord.

Then, adjust settings on the Projector Screen

 

The screen is on the podium.

Description automatically generated button so it turns white. The projector should then turn on though it will take a moment to get going.

 

AND

 

Touch the HDMI or USB C button to connect to your laptop.

 

With the projector on, you should now be able to see your laptop screen on the big screen.

Using PowerPoint in Slide Show mode and it does not appear on the screen (it shows maybe your laptop wallpaper background)?

You have to go into Display Settings and have it duplicate your laptop screen OR
scroll way off the screen to the right and move the slideshow window to the left, to the main screen and then it will show.

 

Change your Audio Settings

This will allow you to hear the Zoom Meeting.

 

In Windows, go to Settings Type in Sound, change the Output “Change where to play sound” (speakers) and it should hook up to the room’s speakers which will be much louder.
